How Australia’s Lake Hillier gets its pink color

Podcasts are the phenomenon of the digital era. I’m so obsessed with podcasts, and I’ve already subscribed to wayyyyy too many.

I listen to episodes any chance I get, whether I’m multitasking at work, going on a walk, on a long drive or getting housework done.

Podcasts may range in a variety of subjects but the ones that I’m interested in are primarily focused on entrepreneurship, happiness/confidence, and blogging.

The path of an entrepreneur is a lonely one, and oftentimes It’s easy to feel alone when you don’t have anyone close that share the same ambitions as you. It’s hard to find a mentor, so I have resolved to listening to podcasts in order to learn more about online business. I’ve learned sooooo much in the past year.

I’ve compiled a list of people that I listen to on a daily basis that help me be a better entrepreneur, boss lady, and just someone that gets shit done.

Let me know in the comment section some of your favorites! I’m always on the hunt for new people to learn from!

Gretchen Rubin wants you to be happier. She’s the #1 bestselling author of The Happiness Project and Better Than Before. Happier is a thought-provoking podcast where Gretchen shares practical advice about happiness and good habits. Quick and powerful 30-minute podcasts on a variety of topics, mainly focused on habits and mental health. I guarantee with 100% certainty that her show will put you in the best mood because the Rubin sisters are always laughing about something 🙂

Brook Casillo is a breath of fresh air. Seriously. Brook comes out with weekly podcasts about personal development on living a heart-centered, fulfilling life. She’s a certified life coach and the author of two best-selling books, Self Coaching 101 and If I’m so Smart, Why Can’t Lose Weight?

Her episodes range from 20-30 minutes and she’s so easy to listen to, I usually put her on in the background as I’m cleaning my house and it’s like having my best friend with me. She’s amazing.

Krista Tippett is a powerhouse. There are few women that I respect more than this one. Her episodes are focused on finding deeper meaning and maintaining a sacred relationship with ourselves, others, and the world around us. The people that she interviews are the top in their industries, revolutionaries, writers, and activists. In 2014, Tippet was awarded National Humanities Medal by former president Barack Obama. You will find it hard not to binge-listen to On Being.

With 369k+ subscribers on youtube and millions of views under his belt, Lewis Howes is one of the most listened-to podcasters of all time. He is like the golden child of the podcasting realm and it’s very easy to understand why. His approach to interviewing is unique – he has the ability to bring out the most from his interviewees with the combination of stimulating questions and empathic listening.

In this podcast, Ryan Robinson teaches listeners about the latest Entrepreneurial fads and how to achieve success in each of them. I’ve learned a lot from him and he’s been a source of inspiration to many people wanting to start successful side-businesses and succeed in online business.

Another side-hustle podcast seeing as I’m obsessed with anything money related. Love his tips and tricks about getting traffic and he regularly interviews entrepreneurs that have made 5-figures from their business.

While doing research for this article I found myself binge-listening to Side Hustle Nation. That’s when I came across Chris Ducker. He is the mastermind behind Virtual Freedom, a best-selling entrepreneurial book on how to create your dream life by hiring virtual staff.

As you know, I didn’t want to niche down when starting my own blog, my excuse for this is that there are many sub-niches of personal development and online business and I just didn’t want to pigeonhole myself into one microniche because that would just be the death of me. I decided to name my blog after myself and so far it’s been successful, thanks to this guy.

Yet another side hustle podcast. If you couldn’t tell by now, I am obsessed with listening to other Entrepreneurs . While these interviews aren’t focused on people making an absolute killing in their respective businesses, all of these people interviewed on the Side Hustle School have created businesses pursuing their passions and make enough to replace their day jobs. That’s the goal right?

There you go! Some of my favorite podcasts ever. I love podcasts and am always on the hunt for new podcasts ones.
